Fellowship Holiday
September 28th to 6th October. Details of itinerary etc .of this holiday are now available and bookings are possible. This is an eight night holiday centred at Onich near Fort William, Scotland. Our Hotel is on the shores of Loch Linnhe overlooking Glen Coe. A most beautiful area of the western Highlands and islands .Included are three nights in the Lake District. Holy Trinity Fete
This year this will be held on Saturday 7th June (not May 17th as previously published). There will also be a table top sale on Saturday May10th in the parish hall. Please book the dates now and consider how you might assist and who to invite along.

The Children's Society
The collection grand total for 2007 in boxes and donations is £806.72. In addition £207 was collected from the sale of Christmas cards of which approximately on third will go to the Society

Mission to Seafarers
£717.58 was raised in 2007, of which £420.63 from Christmas and coffee mornings, £296.95 from Sea Sunday, and £7.50 in the box in lieu of sending Christmas cards. Thanks to all who helped.

You are welcome to join for either or both. We have now purchased some Daily Prayer books for use on these and other occasions, and if you are in church with a few minutes to spare at any time, I would encourage you to make use of them. They are kept in the Lady Chapel.
During
the informal Bible Study we start to look at the Gospel reading set for the
Sunday a fortnight ahead.
The day after the Service of the Word, we will normally have a Communion service instead of Morning Prayer. It takes approximately the same length of time. Please check the Notices and Events page which has latest details
Fair Trade
a new website has been launched www.tradingfairly.co.uk
- it is an online database of hundreds of Fair Trade suppliers across the UK and
is fully searchable by product line or retailer location. It is hoped that by
making access to Fair Trade retailers easier more people will be encouraged
to buy fairly traded products.

Welcome .............
Our
Lay Curate, Matthew Pittam, started work here on 1st September. For
those who haven’t yet heard, Matthew will train here for ordination, working
alongside Reverend Wilson full-time for two years before being ordained Deacon
and then, a year later, Priest. He will disappear off to theological college at
regular intervals throughout this time for intensive residential blocks of
training.

(Service approx 25 mins, coffee approx 15 mins)
By
popular demand, this simple ecumenical Eucharist now takes place on the 1st
and 3rd Friday of each month. All very welcome. It’s also a good
reintroduction to worship for those who don’t feel ready or able to enter a
church building. There is a basket left out for those who wish to support the
Air Ambulance.
