Welcome to new Team Members
It is encouraging that we have had a number of new team members over the last few months. We continue to represent a wide range of Christian traditions, which is wonderful.
Also many thanks to ‘the old hands’ who still faithfully support the work of Nightlight. It is great that we have managed to get a team together every week for over a year. Well done everyone!

Last year Leamington Town Council gave a very generous grant towards Nightlight. We are applying for another grant this year. If anyone knows of anywhere else we may apply to for funding, please get in touch.
Damage to Equipment
Several months ago we had a violent incident where some of our equipment was damaged. Fortunately the equipment was repaired and replaced quickly and we were up and running the following week.
We are very grateful to St Peters R.C Church for covering the cost of the repairs and replacement equipment. Thanks also to the person who did all the repairs free of charge.
Matthew’s Ordination
Over the last few weeks we have noticed that the town has become much quieter as students are preparing for exams and others are not going out as much due to the current financial circumstances. Last summer we became very busy and we hope to be so again this year. It is also important that we continue to maintain our presence even if it is a little quieter. Please make sure you give Debbie your availability for the summer months.

We are continue to develop links with local businesses and Matthew is due to talk about NightLight to the Town Centre Business Forum. We continue to have good relations with Viallis Takeaway and many team members are grateful for the burgers and pizza that they give us from time to time.
We could still do with more volunteers to act as Venue Managers. This is not a huge tasks and involves the following,
1) Opening and Locking Up
2) Providing milk
3) Operating the CCTV Radio
4) Overseeing the venue

A few weeks ago I received a note from someone who visited NightLight and wished to thank everyone for the welcome and care that they received.
This is encouraging as often we don’t know what impact we are having.
We have not had a meeting for some time and it would be good to get together soon. It would be also good to meet on a more social basis- any suggestions please.
